Christopher Haines

Chris is the founding principal of the firm, having commenced as “C.J.Haines Chartered Accountant” in 1977. Chris is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds the qualification of Certified Financial Planner from the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

Chris has over 40 years experience in the accounting profession and has an acute interest in financial markets and investment. For the last 20 years, Chris has specialised in financial planning and investment advice to our firm’s business clients and investors.

Heading up our financial planning team, Chris is involved with the selection and monitoring of suitable investments for our clients. He is also involved with strategy development for financial plans and superannuation funds, which combine the need for a secure income from high quality investments, with a minimum of risk and also ensuring the most advantageous tax outcome.

Being a lover of the outdoors, outside of work Chris relaxes at his north east Victorian farm property. He also regularly enjoys holidays hiking and camping with his wife Di.

Chris and Di have three adult children whose company they regularly enjoy.
